Anke Schaks

Anke Schaks is a member of the Executive Board at MEAG, an asset management firm with > €300bn assets under management and owned by Munich Re, the world’s largest reinsurance company.

In addition, Anke heads the Investment Management Division at ERGO Group AG, Munich Re’s primary insurance company.

She started her career in the financial services industry in 1993 and held positions at Dresdner Bank, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Deutsche Bank’s asset management company DWS and Munich Re.

Anke has a proven track record of building and growing asset management business nationally and internationally.

Her experience encompasses strategy and planning, HR, capital markets, asset management, insurance industry, sales, governance and ESG.

She holds a degree in business administration (‘diploma (FH)’) from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and is a trained banker (Bankkauffrau).
